We proudly manufacture our electric guitars and basses in the USA from scratch, and strive to build a premium quality instrument with no compromises. Here's how we do it:
Our wood bodies are made from hand-selected blanks of kiln-dried ash, alder or maple. Both raw wood and finished 2-piece blanks are kept in a drying cabinet to ensure a low moisture content. When ready we CNC machine them here in our shop then each body is hand-sanded, carefully inspected and sealed before we finish it.
Our standard necks are hand-crafted in Virginia from flat-sawn hard maple with either maple or pau ferro fretboards. Other neck materials such as mahogany, rosewood or ebony can be selected upon request, just let us know what you want.
Standard neck specifications:
Fender scale 25.5"
24 Medium/high nickel-silver frets (.045" crown height)
1-11/16" TUSQ XL graphite nut, Epiphone string spacing
Modern Slim-C profile .780" thickness at 1st fret, .860" at 12th fret (20mm / 22mm)
Bi-directional steel truss rod
We proudly feature EMG USA pickups in both passive and active models, paired with EMG wiring harnesses and pots. Many other pickups are available so you can have a huge tonal pallet at your fingertips. There is a 9V battery compartment in every guitar for active pickups and you will not need to do any special wiring or configuration, just snap the pickups in. Battery power is only activated if you are using active pickups and your output cord is plugged in.
We laser cut and CNC machine our cartridge parts in-house out of aluminum and stainless steel (no plastic) and they snap in place mechanically for a tight positive lock. Different pickup configurations are available and it is easy to wire in your own pickups with just a screwdriver, no soldering needed. Cartridges come in half size (holds one pickup) or full-size which holds two or three pickups together as a set. Cartridges can be flipped from bridge to neck position.
We proudly feature top-shelf USA-made components from Hipshot, EMG, Dunlop, Kahler, GHS and others. We've gone out of our way to give you an amazing guitar designed and fabricated in the USA, and at an affordable price.
You can order your guitar with any combination of single coil or humbucker cartridges, and you can get blank cartridges for installing your own favorite pickups.
Our guitars typically feature one volume, one tone and one pickup selector switch. We are careful to mount the knobs below the bridge pickup so that your strumming hand doesn't hit your controls while you are playing. If you prefer to have the controls in a particular setup just call us and we can custom-make a body that fits your preferences.
